Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust provides integrated healthcare services, including mental health, intellectual disability, and physical health services. Our 9,000 dedicated colleagues provide these services in a variety of settings, from the community through to acute wards, as well as in secure settings. Our Executive Director of Nursing, AHPs & Quality is retiring this year after a career of over 35 years’ commitment to the NHS.  We are seeking an inspirational and inclusive Executive Director of Nursing, AHPs & Quality who will work closely with our new Chief Executive Ifti Majid as we continue our improvement journey.  Leading our Nursing directorate as they provide professional leadership to our 3,700-strong Nursing and AHPs, as a key Board member you will have responsibility for a broad portfolio encompassing Quality, Safeguarding, Patient Experience, CQC standards and liaison, international nurse recruitment, Restrictive Practice, Safer Staffing and Infection Prevention and Control.

We are seeking an experienced Director who thrives in a complex multi-stakeholder environment and has a track record of managing a diverse portfolio and complex services. Comfortable in influencing at Board level, we are keen to hear from nursing leaders who will bring passion and energy to our agenda.  With a track record of building and developing cultures that support the continuous improvement of services and a commitment to reducing inequality, you will offer a clear focus on driving forward compassionate leadership.
